Yesterday, 16.02.2017, was held an evening for friends of Hotel Indigo St. Petersburg – Tchaikovskogo. The meeting took place in a Naryshkin –Trubetskoy’s palace, elegant facade of which is familiar to many residents of St. Petersburg. The first known owner of the building was the great-grandfather of Alexander Pushkin – Abram Hannibal. In 1855, Peter Troubetzkoy got the palace. He invited a famous architect Gerald Bosse to make a partial reconstruction of the building. And in 1874, the new owner, Vasily Naryshkin, again reconstructed the house. In March 2012, during the restoration work, in the premises of the building there was found a treasure, named by experts as one of the most valuable in history – 40 bags of silver products for various purposes.
The event was held with the support of ITS Tourism and jewelry house Cartier.
Delicious buffet from Igor Pecherkin (chef of the restaurant “VINO & VODA” at Hotel Indigo) was presented to the guests. Furthermore, the hotel offered everyone to take part in a fascinating tour through the halls of the palace.
In one of the rooms guests could see several exhibits of the Museum of Theatre Arts. The most interesting exhibit was the costume of opera singer Nadezhda Zabela-Vrubel, wife of Mikhail Vrubel, designed by the artist.
After it guests were invited to the concert hall, to their attention a stunning performance of “Malhas Jazz Band” Levon Malkhasyan. Levon Malkhasyan – fantastic pianist, playing in a very peculiar, free and expressive manner. Over the years, the musician has performed with different teams in more than 40 countries around the world.
Guests were able to participate in the raffle of gifts from the hotel Indigo and the company ITS, support charity auction organized by the Foundation “Friends”.
